In 2012, Mycah released her single and re-make of the Duke Ellington/John Coltrane jazz classic In A Sentimental Mood, produced and arranged by incomparable keyboardist Dawoud Said. Within days of its release, the video, directed by Frank Johnson of Task Force Marketing and Media Group/WPB Network Films, received accolades from sites such as SoulTracks, SoulBounce and video site DMV Jams, and more. The video is a beautifully shot and classic representation of the song, jazz legacy, and holds true to Ms. Chevaliers Sultry, Sassy Creole Girl Persona.
She is featured on multiple tracks of Saxophonist Ray Gaskins latest album A Time To Love, which includes a soul-stirring arrangement of the Ivan Lins classic The Island"& more!
Mycah’s other theatrical accomplishments include being cast in Debbie Aleln’s production “Soul Possessed” as well as “City At Peace” and “Movin In The Spirit” at The John F. Kennedy Center.- Mycah's debut CD "Roux's Fantasy", & Singles for "In A Sentimental Mood", "In The Groove", "When I Give My Love To You " and "Genie", are currently for sale through her website, CD Baby, I-Tunes, & Soul Brothers Records(UK).
