Hip Shake delivers an unmistakably original blues sound that is heavily seeped in the post-war blues era. From their first CD release," I Want To Thank You," Hip Shake featured the sultry vocals and song writing of Rachelle Campillo. Now they perform with Greg Henderson on guitar and vocals, Susan Youngblood on drums and vocals, Rich Fell on bass, Dennis Tully on harmonica and vocals, and Shaun Liddy on saxophone.

Greg “Hendu” Henderson leads this dynamic band and has been a strong player in the Santa Cruz blues scene for the past ten years. Audiences will hear guitar licks reminiscent of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Watson, and BB King in his raw playing. Susan Youngblood on drums and Rich Fell on bass provide rock solid time, allowing the band the freedom to explore their classic sound. Susan also provides female lead vocals for the band. Veteran harmonica player Dennis Tully tastefully adds his chops to the mix, and the most recent Hip Shake addition, sax player Shaun Liddy, adds the swinging groove element to the band’s sound.
